Overview

The Fintech & Digital Partners Account team is looking for a Manager, Account Management, to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

The Fintech & Digital Partners Account team is tasked with managing the relationships with Mastercard's Fintech & Digital Partners. We drive market share and revenue growth for Mastercard through effective consultative sales, optimization, and relationship management activities. We collaborate with colleagues across the Mastercard franchise to deliver bottom line results for our customers and Mastercard.

The ARUPY (Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay) team is seeking an Account Manager to lead the management of key Fintech accounts. This role is critical to strengthening Mastercard's position as a strategic partner for Fintechs in the region, driving business growth, product adoption, and ecosystem expansion.

Your Role will be responsible for:

• Design and execute the commercial strategy for key Fintech accounts in ARUPY, aligned with regional and segment objectives.

• Act as the connection between local and regional teams to execute Mastercard's strategy with the Fintech community. Collaborate closely with ARUPY and LAC teams to align on Fintech program goals, share best practices, and build a unified execution plan.

• Partner with digital partnership leads, regional Fintech leads, and Mastercard product teams to identify opportunities for mutually beneficial collaboration and strategic partnerships

• Collaborate with product development, marketing, and operations teams to implement business plans and track performance.

• Manage the commercial pipeline, ensuring visibility, follow-up, and conversion of opportunities.

• Develop financial models and business cases to support commercial initiatives.

• Negotiate and execute customer agreements, ensuring process efficiency and goal alignment.

The ideal candidate for this position should:

• Passionate about the startup and Fintech ecosystem, with proven experience engaging and supporting companies in this segment.

• Comprehensive experience executing and managing sales strategies for enterprise-sized accounts

• Be adept at driving relationships at multiple levels within the customer's organization

• Possess the ability to evaluate the market and the competition, identifying key trends and opportunities for collaboration and partnership

• Be a creative problem solver

• Continually look at the market and competition to see what is happening

• Have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple customers and projects at once

• Be a self-starter and able to hit the ground running

• Quick to absorb new technologies, demonstrating subject matter expertise and thought leadership in Fintech innovation.

• Results-oriented, customer-focused, and solutions-driven, with strong business acumen and a sense of urgency.

• Brings multi-disciplinary expertise across product development, business development, marketing, client relationship management, and emerging technologies.

• Takes ownership and drives initiatives with ambition, passion, and a clear focus on outcomes.

• Self-aware and open to diverse perspectives, with a willingness to challenge the status quo to unlock new business potential. Thrives in ambiguity and excels in agile, lean team settings.

• Knowledge of the Fintech ecosystem in ARUPY, including regulatory, competitive, and innovation dynamics.

• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
