Title and Summary

Manager, B2B Marketing Strategy, Budget Planning and Administration Overview
Services within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Manager, B2B Marketing Strategy, Budget Planning and Administration to join our dynamic B2B Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Role

• Develop and manage the marketing budget, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on expenditures.

• Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure budget alignment with marketing strategies and goals.

• Monitor and analyze budget performance, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

• Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for senior management.

• Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations for budget adjustments.

• Support the development of financial models and scenarios to inform marketing strategies.

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Assist in the preparation of annual budget plans and quarterly forecasts.

• Help the team through the sourcing process.

• Manage a regular rhythm of budget reviews with marketing leadership and finance.

• Assist the team in working through annual budget planning.

All about you:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.

• Proven experience in budget management, financial analysis, or a similar role.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

• Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle).

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in the marketing or advertising industry preferred.

• Knowledge of marketing metrics and KPIs preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
