Lead Software Developer Engineer - AWS OverviewThe Global Customer Care IVR team is looking for a Lead Software Developer Engineer - AWS to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses a solving problems mindset.
Role
In this software engineering position, you will:
• Work in a close interaction with other engineers to design, develop and deploy software solutions for the platform.
• Identify and correct any issues with the applications and deliver prompt fixes and opportunities to increment performance.
• Take responsibility for the work at hand and provide consistent results above and beyond the expectations.
All About You
What we require:
• Professional software development experience.
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with AWS platform.
• Communication skills for both a technical and business audience.
• Experience leveraging object oriented design practices in Java, C++ and or .Net.
• Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python
• Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Experience taking a leading role in building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers.
