Lead, Platform Engineering Overview

Our Network/DDI team is seeking Lead Architect to propel our customer experience strategy forward through unwavering innovation and adept problem-solving in the space of Content Delivery Network (CDN), Domain Name Servers (DNS), DHCP, IPAM and F5 GTM. The quintessential candidate is focused on the customer experience journey, exuding high motivation, an insatiable intellectual curiosity, exceptional analytical acumen, and a robust entrepreneurial mindset.

About The Role
• Design and develop solutions around internet traffic engineering technologies including but not limited to public and private CDNs, load balancing (F5 GTM & LTM), DNS, DHCP and IPAM solutions.
• Collaborate with DDI operations, network, and security teams for integration with other network infrastructure components, such as Firewalls, DNS proxies, and DNS firewalls.
• Ensure compliance with security guidelines and industry best practices for network services, working with Infosec team for assessing and remediating vulnerabilities, and potential risks.
• Create and maintain documentation related to Content Delivery Network, Load Balancers, DNS management, IP addressing and DHCP including configuration standards, procedures, and troubleshooting resources.
• Implement Proof of Concept solutions to materialize new requirements and implement for strategic initiatives and present to peers and stakeholders.
• Bridge automation gaps by writing and maintaining scripts that enhance automation and improve the overall quality of our services.

All About You
To excel in this role, you should have:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Proven experience as an IP/DHCP/DNS architect managing and maintaining solutions in an enterprise environment in administrative capacity.
• Hands-on DNS administration using Infoblox, F5 GTM appliances along with IP addressing management and DHCP configuration.
• Working understanding DNS protocols, DNSSEC, secure DNS and DNS firewalls.
• Experience in working with platforms like Akamai, Cloudflare & troubleshooting and resolving complex issues related to Content Delivery, IP addressing, DHCP, and DNS services.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a systematic and detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
