Title and Summary

Director, Talent Acquisition, Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) Overview
Mastercard's Talent Acquisition Team is responsible for developing diverse sourcing strategies to identify and attract the most competitive talent both internally and externally to ensure Mastercard's continued success in payments innovation.
The Director, Talent Acquisition, Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) aligns talent acquisition strategies with Mastercard's talent agenda for 17+ countries across our LAC Region. The Director is accountable planning and coordinating talent acquisition efforts, leading a team of recruiters; ensuring the talent acquisition programs are scalable to support local and regional activities across the LAC region. The Director acts as a consultant for the region on a variety of talent acquisition programs and processes including, recruiting, assessment, candidate sourcing, and market research.

Role:
• Influences and collaborates in the development of short and long-term talent acquisition strategies supporting the LAC region.
• Sets objectives and leads the delivery of projects or work efforts that have a direct effect on business results.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align TA strategies that address talent needs for the LAC region.
• Drives consistency of all talent acquisition processes and systems management across the LAC Region. Identifies necessary resources & trainings for team to maintain consistent delivery of service & end-to-end process.
• Influence and develop strategies to attract diverse candidates to all areas of the business.
• Reporting on market insights pertaining to DEI across LAC for various business units and functions.
• Adapting & driving strategies for the improvement of candidate experience/engagement across the region.
• Leads overall engagement, onboarding, and communication with external talent acquisition partners (e.g., vendors) to develop strategies to address talent needs for the highly complex LAC region.
• Ownership of reporting on key Talent Acquisition metrics across LAC (e.g., time-to-fill, cost per hire, diverse candidate slates, candidate pipelines, and applicant tracking). Ensures successful results of team across all metrics.
• Analyze and present insights based on labor market data, and the competitive talent environment to prioritize and align with TA Strategy and high-level objectives.
• Defines the priorities and objectives, measures performance, and develops a team of direct reports as necessary to meet TA goals. Reviews team structure and adapts as required by business needs.
• Encourages the adoption of Mastercard Way behaviors to reach goals.

All About You:
• Prior experience leading experienced hire recruitment delivery efforts for multiple markets across Latin America & the Caribbean with knowledge of local nuanced employment laws.
• Successfully developed and implemented talent acquisition strategies and programs that balance internal business unit demands and conditions of the external business unit/market in a fast-paced and high volume, matrixed global environment
• Experience developing integrated sourcing, marketing, and branding strategies to support talent acquisition goals.
• Experience implementing enhancements to talent acquisition programs/processes based on relevant best practices, external trends and leveraging advanced analytics.
• Successful history of engaging with leaders to understand and address the business and talent acquisition needs and handling external relationships (i.e. vendors, agencies, branding partners)
• Experience with contract management & negotiation.
• Prior people leadership experience

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
