Overview
Mastercard Payment Services provides critical services to Danish and Norwegian national payment infrastructure. We are in the process of transitioning from legacy infrastructure to a Mastercard infrastructure including shared services. During the integration period and beyond, the second line Risk Management Team will have a critical role managing and supporting the risk process.

The Nordic Team of Enterprise Risk Management is looking for a Director, Risk Management who will have responsibility for championing resilience, operational and business risk management practices both internally, at a senior management level and externally with all applicable customers.

Role and responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for second line of defence risk management practices. Developing, delivering, maintaining and monitoring relevant policies, standards and best practices to ensure that services are setup and operated to meet regulated obligations
• Understand local jurisdiction regulatory requirements, coordinating risk and compliance activities, follow up on findings and regular reporting to senior management
• Risk and control assessments and the creation of required risk registers and taxonomy
• Present aggregate risk reporting to senior management, boards, committees and external parties (including regulators) to support commercial decision making
• Acting as a key contributor to the Mastercard Payment Services risk appetite, actively supporting and delivering against corporate objectives and supporting KPIs
• Supporting collaborative working relationships with stakeholders, including Technology Risk, Outsourcing, Regulatory Affairs, Legal and Compliance functions at the local, regional, or global level
• Overseeing compliance and implementation of design and operational effectiveness related to risk, controls, and governance

• Demonstrate strong disciplines with regard to accuracy and quality of output
