Title and Summary

Director, Product Management - Insurance Products Director, Benefit Management – Insurance and Assistance Services

Overview

The Global Cardholder Services team is looking for an agile team player to manage its Insurance and Assistance Services products. The team is responsible for bringing 60+ products to market in over 100+ countries globally, working closely with our insurance and assistance service providers as well as regional teams to develop and execute strategic plans. This is a highly collaborative role that must engage with teams across the company. We are looking for highly motivated, independent thinker, collaborative and passionate individual with a solid track record, looking to broaden their product management experience.

Role

• Develops and implements global strategy for insurance and assistance service products.
• Delivers against product initiatives in close collaboration with business unit leadership.
• Manages end-to-end relationship with multiple vendors, including contract negotiations.
• Manages performance of insurance and assistance services product portfolio, provides feedback, identifies areas of opportunity, and recommends business/process improvements.
• Ensures compliance with all legal and regulatory procedures, information security requirements and contract policies.
• Works closely with internal and external stakeholders ensuring full engagement of key stakeholders across the organization including Regional Teams, Data Privacy, Legal, Procurement, Call Center Management, BizOps, etc.
• Supports regional strategies and initiatives (e.g. pricing strategy, enabling existing products in new markets, developing new products, evaluating business models, etc.)
• Partners with Treasury & Legal to ensure Insurance Regulation and Compliance is monitored and adhered to.
• Manages digital enablement strategy to drive more claim conversions through our digital channels.
• Manages the digital insurance claims experience measuring metrics, tracking customer experience and optimizing channel.
• Subject matter expert for insurance and assistance service products.

All About You
• Strong knowledge and experience in product management.
• Strong knowledge and experience in the insurance industry.
• Knowledge and experience working with cardholder benefits and enhancements preferred.
• Solid experience in managing third party relationships and strategic partners.
• Knowledge and experience manipulating data and communicating observations, findings, and preliminary insights.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with demonstrated success in managing complex projects.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Team player with proven track record of working effectively cross-functionally with geographically dispersed teams and internal and external stakeholders.
