Title and Summary
Director, Information Security Engineering The Director, Cloud Security Engineering will be responsible for the design and implementation of public & private cloud security solutions in support of Mastercard's cloud security strategy. This position will focus on enabling business opportunities by ensuring the secure deployment our cloud infrastructure.Questions
• Can you demonstrate a good working level of knowledge in information security and secure development disciplines?
• Can you provide thought leadership on how to securely design our cloud infrastructure while enabling the business to move fast?
• Can you perform security analysis of application architectures and cloud services; identifying methods to mitigate threats, attacks and risks to payment applications?
• Can you demonstrate successful cross-functional influence and partnership to enable business through technical decisions?
Role
• Leads the development of security strategy, standards, and architectural patterns to protect critical business applications in cloud environments
• Consults with development and operational teams to securely design infrastructure, applications, and services following industry best practices
• Implements complex security procedures and controls to protect data from compromise or corruption
• Cultivates and maintains effective working relationships with a variety of internal MasterCard stakeholders, including business owners, end-users, customers, project managers, engineers, and senior management
• Directs technology evaluations including business case development, test case definition, and vendor selection based on industry standard criteria
• Provides consultation in legal, technical and regulatory areas that affect information security
All About You
• Expert-level knowledge of information security, risk management, and data privacy within the domain of digital commerce including relevant practical experience
• Advanced knowledge of security capabilities and constraints related to deploying cloud native and multi-cloud applications and infrastructure
• Good understanding of continuous delivery/continuous integration processes and procedures
• Good understanding of firewalls, threat prevention and detection, and application security principles
• Good understanding of conceptual and applied cryptography and Public Key Infrastructures (PKI)
• Good understanding of identity management, user authentication and authorization principles
• Demonstrated technical competency in security engineering based on hands-on experience or relevant qualifications
• Demonstrated effectiveness working in a global environment

Pay Ranges
O'Fallon, Missouri: $165,000 - $264,000 USDApply on company website
