Overview:
The Director, Finance Business Partner, Commercial Verticals is a member of the Global Commercial New Payment Flows (CNPF) finance team and is responsible for business planning, decision analysis and finance support for the Commercial Verticals team led by EVP, Commercial Verticals. The Commercial Verticals organization is responsible for driving secular shift and accelerating growth in prioritized B2B verticals including Travel, Transportation, Healthcare, and Embedded Finance with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) & Procurement platforms. These targeted verticals represent ecosystems of interlinked business opportunities that require tailored products, features, programs, value drivers, and business development.

Role
Serve as primary finance point of contact for the Commercial Verticals organization with responsibility for operating budget, forecasts, financial models, and analysis to support business strategies
Partner with the business to evaluate new growth areas from strategic, operational, and financial perspectives and model potential investments, business partnerships, and initiatives
Development of materials to support ongoing business reviews: Monthly Performance Packages, Operating Reviews, Business Unit Reviews, BOD Presentations, Investor Updates, scorecard updates and KPI dashboard reviews
Develop, track, and analyze key business performance metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
Collaborate with accounting and reporting teams on financial forecasts and maintain ongoing assessment of spending risks/opportunities
Partner with P&C and various business stakeholders to maintain accurate forecasts as needed
Support investment and effective cost management / efficiency efforts
Lead and develop a motivated and effective team

All About You
Bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline, MBA Preferred (preferably in Finance/General Management)
A proven track record of accomplishments (Cards/Payments industry a plus but not required)
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Commercial awareness and ability to manage risk versus return trade-offs.
Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
Experience in leading large-scale projects and ensuring timely delivery along with managing team dynamics in diverse locations
Demonstrated thought leadership with the ability to translate raw data into meaningful information and to present complex information in a concise professional manner for senior management review
Comfortable with occasional ambiguity and able to make calculated decisions with limited data
Advanced modeling and analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative)
Excellent project management, follow up and organizational skills
Strong prioritization skills to balance multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to handle confidential information and materials with appropriate discretion
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable interacting with all levels of management
