Team Purpose – Digital Labs a
• Digital Labs supports our customers and partners with Innovation and R&D consultation - delivering customized innovation programs, products and support - tailored to meet client-specific business challenges. Labs as a Service is a joint venture alliance between Labs and Advisors
• Digital Labs will help customers create effective solutions to real problems in a compressed timeframe using cost effective innovative processes
Leader, Program Manager
• The Program Manager role within Digital Labs is responsible for preparing, organizing and reporting on external customers engagements.
• This role will report to the Head of Program Management and will own the PM aspects of client engagements in Europe.
• This role will work closely with internal stakeholders such Legal, Finance and Product Innovation to ensure successful execution of client engagements.
• This person will be an advocate for innovation at MasterCard, both internally and externally, in the region.

Role
Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing customer project engagements including scheduling / organizing customer innovation events and preparation for same, monitoring / status reporting, capturing learnings and ensuring that scope of works (SOW) are delivered in accordance with customer expectations.
• Administer the SOW process for customer engagements, including liaising with internal legal counsel and client legal and business stakeholders.
• Administer the MasterCard program financial process from initial client engagement through to internal review, approval and signoff.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (Product Innovation, Technical, Design, SMEs) to ensure adequate resources are available across multiple client engagements.
• Source, negotiate and manage vendor contracts and ensure expectations are met between MasterCard, the vendor and the external client as appropriate
• Organize and maintain team equipment and supplies requirements.
• Engage with MasterCard customers and prospective customers to generate new innovation engagements for the Digital Labs team in the region. Manage and report on the Labs sales pipeline and maintain contact relationships in support.
• Contribute to the development of new LaaS innovation programs and products and the enhancement of existing LaaS innovation methodologies that can be delivered to customers.
• Keep informed on emerging technologies and innovations in the payments and commerce space and identify potential opportunities for the LaaS team to develop product prototypes that would be relevant to MasterCard's customer base.

• Multifaceted project / program management experience.
• Demonstrated experience in innovation / technology commercialization.
• Must be able to support diverse customer engagements / interactions and drive the resulting project as well as having the capability to engage and persuade senior level executives.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills in dealing with internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Dynamic problem solving / conflict resolution skills.

• High energy, can-do attitude, with strong desire to succeed with excellent communication / presentation skills.
• Entrepreneurial, experience in a start-up and blue chip corporate environment.
