Title and Summary

Director, Ecosystem Development, Agentic AI Overview
The Global Partnerships team develops relationships and business opportunities with leading players in tech, e-commerce, and financial services to build best-in-class solutions leveraging Mastercard technology. We deliver these solutions at scale to solve real-world challenges for our partners and their customers.

We are seeking a Director of Ecosystem Development to help shape and execute our Agentic AI growth agenda. In this role, you will design and deliver initiatives that expand our partnerships and strengthen our ecosystem, working closely with cross-functional teams across Core, Services, and Commercial New Payment Flows. You will collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Franchise Compliance, Regulatory, and Finance to develop innovative frameworks, business models, and B2B programs that accelerate adoption and engagement in this rapidly evolving space.

Role

Drive execution of the Agentic AI ecosystem strategy through programs that support partner integrations, go-to-market initiatives, and stakeholder engagement.

Develop and operationalize frameworks in collaboration with Core, Services, and Commercial New Payment Flows businesses, alongside Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, and Finance partners.

Represent the ecosystem perspective in product and solutions planning, ensuring customer and partner needs are integrated into roadmaps.

Build partner engagement opportunities through learning programs, certifications, events, and co-development initiatives that reinforce Mastercard's leadership.

Track performance metrics, including ecosystem engagement, integration velocity, and go-to-market effectiveness, to measure success and inform decisions.

Support team leadership in scaling capabilities and enabling collaboration across regions.

All About You

Proven experience in business development, project management, ecosystem partnerships, or platform strategy within fintech, payments, or technology.

Track record of driving ecosystem growth through partnerships, programs, or community-building initiatives.

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working across product, engineering, legal, marketing, and sales teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across levels.

Familiarity with platform companies (cloud, AI, fintech) and understanding of ecosystem dynamics.

Ability to thrive in a fast-changing environment, bringing structure, execution, and resilience.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
