Overview
The Global Business Service Center (GBSC) is a business services center within Mastercard whose mission is to add value to our partners and serve our customers by delivering operational excellence, enhanced customer experiences, and focused business results. The Director, B2B Marketing provides critical global leadership for functions inclusive of RFP Factory, Creative Studio project management, marketing analytics & insights, sales development, and content management services. In addition, this role will manage/oversee a complex set of operational and financial metrics and ensure adherence to defined governance, policies & procedures. This key leadership position will execute on this mission through close collaboration and shared objectives with global B2B marketing, product marketing, business development, and product colleagues globally.
Role
In this position, you will:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales & marketing business services team, ensuring that functions run efficiently and that the team is adhering to service level agreements, objectives, and KPI targets.
• Oversee allocation of staffing resources and responsibilities for partner priorities, supporting and promoting timely and desired outcomes.
• Direct and coordinate the portfolio of workstreams in alignment with the strategic priorities of the Global Business Service Center and the marketing partners.
• Develop and maintain relationships with partners in the regions and global marketing team to effectively develop and plan the roadmap for sales & marketing services and optimize service delivery.
• Serve as a point of escalation for performance and service level issues for senior and executive levels.
• Lead continuous reviews of existing processes, performance metrics & capabilities to assess operational efficiency and to ensure that processes meet the present and anticipated needs of business units, B2B marketing, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct capacity analysis planning to ensure that the GBSC sales & marketing function's resources (e.g., technology, people) are sufficient to meet customer needs and are not excessive in light of projected demand (includes captive & non captive service delivery model).
• Manage, coach, develop and complete objective-setting and performance evaluations for GBSC Sales & Marketing leadership.

All About You
The ideal candidate for this position should:
• Have global experience and be a highly collaborative individual who will effectively establish and manage global relationships across multiple organizations and functional areas, third party providers and regional teams.
• Have a bachelor's degree in marketing or operations, or equivalent combination of experience and formal education.
• Have experience leading multi-functional, multi diverse, & multi geographic teams
• Have well-honed influencing skills and demonstrated success in partnering across a global organization at multiple levels and business units.
• Demonstrate leadership in complex situations and be viewed as a credible subject matter expert in business services, operations, project management and people leadership.
• Experience working in shared services environments preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Good organizational skills, ability to deliver within agreed deadlines, to act with sense of urgency and prioritize tasks.
• Identify risks and find the best balance between risks and opportunities.
