Title and Summary
Director, AI Security Engineering The Director of AI Security Engineering will lead a team of AI Security Engineers in developing and executing a comprehensive AI security strategy and roadmap. This role will collaborate closely with the AI Governance team and the AI Center of Excellence to strengthen partnerships, refine standards and best practices, and implement secure tooling. The Director will ensure that AI components are protected by design while enabling innovation through secure and scalable solutions.Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the AI security strategy and roadmap in alignment with enterprise goals.
- Foster collaboration across AI Governance, AI Center of Excellence, and Corporate Security teams.
- Champion secure-by-design principles for AI systems and infrastructure.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, GDPR) and internal policies.
- Collaborate on the development and refinement of AI security standards and playbooks.
- Support regulatory audits and risk assessments related to AI systems.
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to validate emerging threats and security solutions.
- Stay ahead of advancements in AI security and contribute to thought leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Extensive experience in information security, with a strong focus on AI security.
- Proven leadership in managing technical teams and delivering strategic initiatives.
- Deep understanding of AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, and data protection techniques.
- Experience in secure coding, encryption, access controls, and threat modeling.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
