Title and Summary

Director, Change Management Overview:
The Talent and Organizational Effectiveness (T & OE) COE connects our people to priceless opportunities so they can reach their potential and ensure we reach ours. We establish industry leading practices for attracting, developing, and retaining the best people, to future proof our business and support teams in delivering the best work of their careers.

The T & OE COE is looking for a Director, Change Management to drive our Change Management, Organizational Development, and Project Management capabilities forward, by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the organizational and employee readiness journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

The successful candidate will lead activities and deliverables to enable wide ranging change management, organizational development, and project management strategies for various business critical initiatives. They will test and implement a comprehensive cross functional change and project management approach that can be leveraged in the TOE COE and alongside Mastercard's team of dedicated resources residing in the Talent & OE COE Agile Pool.

Role:
• Develop, pilot, and institutionalize a best in class change management capability that will improve employee readiness and account for disruptive change to all elements of an organization's operating model (strategy, structure, processes and systems, shared values, etc.).
• Set clear and measurable change management and project management objectives and design a foundational change management framework.
• Guide the approach and further support the execution of change management activities.
• Enable repeatable and scalable change management activities and deliverables through our established tools to accelerate change management activities: change impact assessment; change communications plans and framework; stakeholder analysis and engagement tactics.
• Use pre-established COE methodologies to design and implement engagement model strategies for complex business initiatives and needs.
• Review employee readiness for executives, people managers, and individual contributors, to apply the lens of change management to moments that matter, including, journey mapping, cultural assessments, mentoring programs, on-boarding, manager training, and ongoing communications, engagement, and enablement activities.
• Facilitate and or support large cross-functional planning meetings and workshops using change management best practices and approaches.
• Manage and maintain key employee touchpoint across the change journey.
• Consult, coach and engage project teams, managers, and leaders.
• Assist in developing and delivering analysis, recommendations, and presentations for senior executives to support strategic decisions.

All About You:
• Advanced degree in Organizational Change Management or Organizational Development preferred; certifications are a plus.
• Strong change management, project management and OD fundamentals.
• Experience in consulting, change management, organizational development and transformation is required. Project management experience is a plus.
• Experience inhouse and in consulting companies is a plus.
• Experience with M&A Change Management is a plus.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous environment and ability to manage multiple projects and a diverse set of stakeholders.
• Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills: demonstrated ability to analyze data, structure complex problems, develop solutions.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral to a variety of stakeholders.
• C-Suite orientated presentation skills, especially related to building compelling PowerPoint presentations.
• Skilled in active listening and cultivating meaningful feedback loops via surveys, focus groups, and 1:1 interaction.
• Team player and able to work collaboratively and partner with multiple stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Able to establish and maintain strong relationships and influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
• Understanding of people practices end to end is a plus.
• Strong track record of managing / leading enterprise-wide projects, change and transformational initiatives, with sustainable results.
• Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere.
• Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges.
• Strong ability to work in a global and highly matrixed organization

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
