Title and Summary

Associate Managing Consultant, Program Management, Advisors & Consulting Services Overview
We are seeking a Merchant Partnership AMC to accelerate the growth and diversification of our merchant partnerships across EEMEA. This role is pivotal in driving the CA&E agenda, creating new revenue streams and delivering value-added services to Mastercard's key stakeholders through innovative merchant campaigns. The focus is on enabling product growth by building and deepening strategic relationships with leading merchants and merchant aggregators.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership Development & Synergy
• Create strong synergies with the Loyalty team to define new partnership models that unlock cross-portfolio opportunities and drive incremental revenue streams.
• Identify and cultivate key partnerships across EEMEA—especially in Egypt, Pakistan and Africa—to secure differentiated offers and exclusive campaigns for Mastercard issuers.
• Build and sustain high-impact relationships with merchants and partners to drive mutual business growth and long-term collaboration.
Merchant & Aggregator Campaign Management
• Manage merchant aggregators end-to-end, mapping their networks to identify and create new opportunities for issuers and merchants.
• Define and package new merchant deal bundles (aggregator / multi-merchant offers) to create excitement and incremental revenue for clients.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all merchant-related discussions
• Oversee the merchant campaign pipeline across EEMEA, ensuring seamless coordination and timely execution of campaigns.
• Handle all contractual, administrative and operational aspects of merchant management.
Data-Driven & Market-Focused Solutions
• Leverage data insights and market intelligence to design innovative solutions and quantify the value of opportunities.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics, providing strategic recommendations to strengthen Mastercard's merchant proposition.
Client & Merchant Engagement
• Proactively add value throughout the client, merchant, and Advisors engagement lifecycle.
• Ensure high-quality delivery of services and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with all stakeholders.
• Conduct regular performance reviews of key merchants and campaigns to optimise impact.
Contract & Compliance Oversight
• Take full ownership of contractual aspects of merchant management, ensuring adherence to agreements and swift resolution of any contractual or operational issues.

All About You
Required
• Bachelors degree in business, Marketing or related field.
• Years' experience in retail / ecommerce with a proven record in merchant relationship management, partnership development, and campaign execution across EEMEA markets.
• Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel and PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and spoken English; strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse market and data to recommend partner selection and campaign types.
• Strong project management skills: plan and prioritise, anticipate interdependencies, and coordinate across functions and management levels.
• Self-motivated team player who can also work independently and influence key decisions.
Preferred
• Payment industry experience and understanding of value-chain payment flows.
• International exposure and experience with global and local brands.
• Arabic language is plus
