Description

Responsible for the preparation of new business cost proposals, change proposals, and task/delivery orders spanning all contract types in a government contracting environment. Must be able to function in a fast paced proposal environment and collaborate with capture and proposal teams to develop pricing and win strategies while ensuring compliance and schedule adherence. Will develop full cost volume for proposals.<ul><li>Provides in-depth knowledge of FAR other applicable government regulations.</li><li>Conducts research, analysis, modeling, solution development, deliverables include proposal development and recommendations in all phases of the business development life-cycle to include opportunity pursuit, capture planning, proposal development and post-submission activities. The analyses will consider customer budgets, customer award behaviors, competitor cost estimates, and competitor pricing strategies. Responsible for conducting robust intelligence gathering operations using diverse techniques and developing insightful customer and competitor profiles that drive capture strategies. Responsible for supporting key reviews across the capture life-cycle including black hats, color team reviews, bid approvals and other major reviews. In addition, you will help build bid history databases containing cost and pricing data to foster growth within core technology areas and/or emerging markets.</li><li>Reviews solicitation and proposal documents for protection of company pricing approach, satisfaction of customer specifications/requirements and adherence to company policy.</li><li>Provides interpretation of solicitation requirements.</li><li>Interacts with personnel and management concerning matters of significance to the company related to cost proposals.
