Job Summary

The primary focus of the Materials Management Financial and Process Improvement Analyst position is to  provide process improvement and data analysis support to the Materials Management team and other key Supply Chain stakeholders within LMC. 

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Management Science, Business Administration, or Other Related Field
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 Years of Related Experience
Substitutable Education & Experience (Optional): The following combinations will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree with 5 Years:

Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Management Science, or Business Administration with 10 years of experience in Health Care Supply Chain Management;
--OR--
Master's Degree in related field. 

Essential Functions
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance profitability and develop improvement strategies.
  • Provide timely identification and communication of any anomalies, omissions, or unexpected trends to the Director of Materials Management.
  • Provide financial support including trending analysis and benchmark comparisons to the Cost Containment, Value Analysis, and Surgical and Procedural Sites Committees.
  • Develop strong working relationships with clinical leaders in the hospital and throughout the physician network.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct financial planning and forecasting
  • Develop and execute cost controls
  • Provided ad hoc reports from key systems as requested.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
