Job Summary

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Dispatcher, you will coordinate and execute the timely flow of materials, subassemblies, and completed assemblies throughout the production process

As a Production Dispatcher, your main responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
  • Ensure that production operations has the necessary orders, parts, etc. to keep production moving efficiently throughout the production process
    • Maintenance of dispatch lists 
    • Monitor movement of kits from the stockroom to work cells and between work cells
  • Effectively understand, communicate, and manage resolution of material and production issues that may jeopardize attainment of customer delivery or production plan objectives

  • Excellent time management skills and able to prioritize and meet work schedules
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments
  • Maintain forklift certification
  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • Good understanding of MRP systems
  • Effective computer skills including Excel and Word
