DRS RADA, a leading defense high-tech company specializing in radar systems development, is seeking a motivated and experienced Engineering Project Management Team Leader to establish and lead the Project Management capability within our Engineering department.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Engineering Project Management team and establish common project management methodologies, tools, and execution routines across the department.
  • Build and maintain an integrated view of Engineering projects, work plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, resources, and priorities.
  • Ensure alignment between Engineering work plans, R&D development programs, production needs, and business objectives.
  • Drive regular project reviews, action follow-up, risk management, escalation, and management reporting.
  • Provide clear and reliable visibility into project status, critical paths, resource constraints, and execution gaps.
  • Support Engineering management in prioritization, resource allocation, and resolution of cross-functional conflicts.
  • Define and implement common dashboards, KPIs, and project control mechanisms.
  • Guide and professionally develop Engineering Project Managers and PMO team members.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering leaders, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, LOBs, and other relevant stakeholders.


Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project or management within a multidisciplinary technological environment.
  • Previous experience leading project managers, PMO professionals, or a project management function.
  • Strong leadership, assertiveness, and the ability to drive execution without direct authority.
  • Systemic and process-oriented thinking, with the ability to translate complex activities into structured execution plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including management-level reporting.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and operate effectively in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
  • Experience in defense, multidisciplinary systems, manufacturing, NPI, or transition-to-production environments is a significant advantage.
