SCHEDULE: PRN/Per Diem

 The rehab aide will performs routine patient related activities as assigned by the Therapist.

 

Anticipates therapist needs and assists with equipment needs. Ensures patients are prepared for therapy and adheres to patient specific needs.

 

Demonstrates proactive and effective communication with patients and therapists. Immediately reports changes in patient status, behaviors and other pertinent information to the therapist or nursing staff.

Provides organization and maintenance of treatment equipment and supplies. Notifies designee of unsafe and ineffective equipment. Monitors and stocks supplies at par levels.

Acts as transport liaison for patients to and from scheduled treatment sessions and group activities in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications include:
• Minimum of a High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting .
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Required.
• Strong customer service skills required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Computer literacy is preferred.
• Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching and some lifting.
