We are looking for a Banquet Chef/Sous Chef to help lead our award-winning kitchen team.La Playa Hotel, Carmel is a historic, boutique hotel with a reputation for exquisite accommodations, service and cuisine. The ideal candidate for Banquet Chef/Sous Chef will work directly with our Executive Chef and be involved in all aspects of running the kitchen.
Responsibilities include upholding our standards, with a level of consistency and commitment. You will be involved in kitchen scheduling, ordering and inventory. Experience in these areas is essential. Attention to detail, cleanliness, a level-headed attitude, and a strong commitment to kitchen organization are required.
Seeking a quick thinker and problem solver. You should be comfortable leading and motivating a kitchen team.
