We are looking to hire a Co-Op for the Finance Team at our Jacksonville, Florida office for the Spring 2025 rotation. The Finance Co-op/Internship position serves as a development opportunity with the Global Finance organization of Kraton. The Finance Co-op/Internship will work with our Regional Financial Share Services Group.
Key Responsibilities- Participating in department meetings.
- Assist with project processes, work instructions and analysis of the performance data.
- Work on account reconciliation and analyze it.
- Create journal entries and run reports as needed.
- Perform other functional job tasks and duties as needed.
- Learn SAP, BPC and other financial applications and business systems.
- At the end of the internship to provide a summary of what was learned, any findings and suggestions.
- Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student pursuing an Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related field of study.
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA
- Must have basic proficiency using Microsoft Office applications to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook E-mail, and Project.
- Must be willing to work with others and have a positive attitude in an office setting.
- Possess a basic understanding and knowledge of finance management.
- Learn and apply knowledge and skills to the performance of basic business administration and technical financial management work.
- Display effective business communication skills, (oral, written, instructional, and presentation) as well the ability to work on cross-functional and/or geographically dispersed teams.
- Must demonstrate personal initiative to complete work without missing deadlines and communicate and follow-up on the status of projects and other work assignments in a timely manner.
- Able to organize and prioritize project and work tasks. Project Management skills or classwork preferred but not required.
- Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate (sophomore, junior, senior) student pursuing an Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field of study.
