We currently offer the following shifts for our Cedar Crest Location:
- Full-time, Part-time, Weekend shift and Per diem
- Days- 7 am-7:30 pm
- Nights - 7 pm-7:30 am
Units Hiring: Med Surg, Critical Care, Neuroscience, Float Pool, Observation Unit, Ortho, Trauma, Cardiac unit, Inpatient Rehab, Progressive care unit, and ED.
What You'll Do:
- Provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies and procedures.
- Directs and manages the care of designated patients.
- Utilizes effective and appropriate communication styles.
- Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.
- Implement and evaluate treatment plans in strict adherence to facility or departmental policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred)
- Pennsylvania RN License or Compact state (current and in good standing)
- 1 year of department experience
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care
- Successful completion of additional orientation programs

About Us:
LVHN is home to five clinical institutes. Each serves as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and education. Our institutes include Lehigh Valley Topper Cancer Institute, Lehigh Valley Heart and Vascular Institute, Lehigh Valley Institute for Surgical Excellence, Lehigh Valley Fleming Neuroscience Institute and Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute. LVHN is also home to Lehigh Valley Reilly Children's Hospital, which is the only children's hospital in the region. This hospital gives our community access to more than 30 pediatric specialties, Children's Express CARE locations and a dedicated Children's ER.
