Requirements
Plans and directs hospital wide mission integration strategy ensuring that best practices are present in each facet of the following areas; In patient care, Staff engagements, Chaplains, Physician Engagement, Communities of faith outreach, Creation Health. Faithful work in these areas will place KHN hospitals at the fore of quality and mission vibrancy and ensure that KHN corporate accountabilities are met each year.
Minimum Education
Master of Divinity degree or equivalent
Minimum of four units of Clinical Pastoral Education
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Congregational pastoral experience
- Four-units or residency in Clinical Pastoral Education
- Ordination/licensure as minister in good standing with the SDA Church
- Endorsement through Adventist Chaplaincy Ministries of the General Conf. of SDA
- Board Certification with the Association of Professional Chaplains
- Certificate in Critical Incident Stress Management
