Kelly is hiring experienced MIG welders for a Powersports Manufacturer who is a global leader in the industry. These positions are contract to hire and provide a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with an outstanding company

Job Description:
MIG Welders:   In this role, you will perform MIG and arc welding on mild steel in an assembly line or work cell, ensuring that all work meets quality standards and specifications. Your responsibilities will include executing welding tasks according to production schedules, conducting quality testing, and maintaining thorough documentation as required. You will focus on safety, quality, cost, and delivery while operating welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with at least one year of industry experience in MIG welding. You should be able to lift up to 40 lbs., push/pull up to 100 lbs., and comfortably perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, turning, kneeling, and squatting. A strong understanding and commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and using the proper safety equipment. Pay: $22.34
2nd Shift available - 2 p.m. – 10 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. – 11 p.m. Monday – Friday

What does a typical day as a Welder include?

  • Perform the MiG welding process on mild steel on assembly line or work cell as required to meet all quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform Weld Tasks to Standards.
  • Perform Arc and Mig welding on steel materials for RANGER or Slingshot production.
  • Ability to be trained on specific weld process standards and arc monitor systems.
  • Perform welding tasks based on production schedules.
  • Perform quality testing and documentation as required.
  • Focus on Safety, Quality, Cost & Delivery. 
Needed Skills & Qualifications: 
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One plus years of industry/MIG Welding experience.
  • Ability to lift to 40 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, and squat with repetitive use of upper extremities.
  • Work safely around moving equipment, power tools, and industrial vehicles.
  • Ability to read and understand routings, work orders and production reports necessary.
  • Will be required to wear the proper safety equipment and follow all safety guideline.
