Shipping Receiving/Warehouse Manager

Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team in Deer Park as a Shipping Receiving Manager, where your expertise in the electrical industry will play a crucial role in optimizing warehouse operations. This direct hire position offers a competitive salary of up to $80k and promises a fulfilling career in managing all facets of shipping and receiving processes. Your leadership will ensure the smooth functioning of inventory control and freight handling while fostering effective communication within your team.

Job Specifications: 
•    Job Type: Direct Hire 
•    Location: Deer Park 
•    Pay Rate: Up to $80k per annum 
•    Shift: 6:30 am-3:30 pm or 8 am-5 pm; no weekends

Roles and Responsibilities: 
•    Lead and supervise a team of 3 employees in shipping and receiving tasks- this team will grow throughout the year
•    Efficiently manage inventory using Oracle and NetSuite systems. 
•    Conduct regular cycle counts and oversee inventory control processes. 
•    Coordinate freight ensuring timely and accurate shipping and receiving operations. 
•    Safely operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up pickers, and lifts. 
•    Foster effective communication within the team and with external partners regarding scheduling and transportation. 
•    Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse environment.

Qualifications & Skills: 
•    Essential experience in the electrical industry is preferred
•    Industrial warehouse experience is required 
•    Proficiency in Oracle or other ERP systems 
•    Competence in operating warehouse equipment such as sit-down forklifts and stand-up pickers. 
•    Strong organizational and communication skills. 
•    Ability to work shifts from 6:30 am-3:30 pm or 8 am-5 pm without weekend work. 
•    Previous supervisory experience in warehouse/shipping and receiving environments.
