POSITION TITLE: Warehouse Lead
LOCATION: Bunnell, FL
REPORTS TO: Office Manager
STATUS: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
PAY RATE: $25/hour
PURPOSE: The Warehouse Lead is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all warehouse functions, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and light assembly. This role will maintain a clean, organized, and optimized warehouse environment, while collaborating with other departments to support overall company objectives. The Warehouse Lead will train and guide the warehouse team to consistently meet quality standards, while proactively identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage and oversee the shipping and receiving of all materials, products, and supplies.
- Ensure that incoming and outgoing shipments are accurate and compliant with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Optimize warehouse layout to facilitate workflow and easy access to products.
- Assist in managing inventory levels and perform regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Work with the team to monitor product expiration dates and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Assist with light assembly, packaging, and kitting, ensuring all tasks are completed to quality standards.
- Collaborate with production and quality control teams to resolve any issues related to production or packaging.
- Train warehouse staff, ensuring they understand all procedures and follow best practices.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure warehouse processes align with overall company objectives.
- ldentify and troubleshoot any warehouse-related issues, such as inventory discrepancies or shipping delays.
- Continuously look for opportunities to improve warehouse processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Experience with inventory management, cycle counting, and light assembly work.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to train and guide warehouse staff.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, as well as carrier coordination.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and practices to ensure a safe working environment for the team.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in warehouse management or a lead position, preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated industry.

Confident in providing clear instructions, training staff, and promoting a collaborative, results-driven work environment. Able to effectively communicate with team members, other departments, and external vendors, ensuring smooth coordination and resolving issues promptly. Demonstrates a positive attitude, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced setting, while fostering teamwork and accountability. Maintains professionalism in all interactions, earning the trust and respect of colleagues and stakeholders.
COMPUTER SKILLS: Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook, is required for managing inventory and communication. The candidate should be comfortable working with Windows operating systems and have the ability to learn new software applications quickly. Experience with warehouse management systems, such as QuickBooks, SPS Commerce, or similar platforms, is preferred. Familiarity with tools for tracking shipments, inventory, and stock levels is beneficial.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must possess the ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos; ability to write correspondence; ability to effectively communicate with superiors, vendors, prospects, and clients, and the public.

This role requires the employee to be on their feet for extended periods, frequently walking, standing, and occasionally stooping, bending, or reaching. The employee will regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and will operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, following all safety protocols. Manual dexterity and coordination are required for tasks such as handling materials, light assembly, and operating warehouse tools and equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

The Warehouse Lead will primarily work in a warehouse setting where the noise level can vary from quiet to loud. The environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, forklifts, and occasionally outdoor elements when loading/unloading shipments. The employee may work in areas that require strict adherence to safety protocols and will need to ensure a clean,organized, and efficient workspace.
