Warehouse Cleaning Associate – Morgantown, WV

We're currently hiring Cleaning Associates for a well-known client in Morgantown, WV — where you'll play an important role in keeping operations running smoothly and safely.

Schedule & Pay

1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | $17.50/hour
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM | $18.90/hour

 

Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in all warehouse areas, including storage zones, loading docks, and employee-accessible facilities. Ensures a safe, clean, and organized environment that supports efficient warehouse operations.

 Essential Job Functions
  • Empty and sanitize trash and recycling containers throughout the warehouse

  • Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors, including aisles, docks, and staging areas

  • Clean and maintain warehouse restrooms and break areas

  • Dust and wipe down racking, shelving, and equipment surfaces

  • Clean interior glass and windows as needed

  • Restock restroom and breakroom supplies

  • Remove debris and ensure walkways remain clear and safe

  • Handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely

  • Report any facility issues or safety hazards to management

  • Assist with cleanup after spills or warehouse incidents as required

 Qualifications

Education & Training:

  • Basic understanding of English and arithmetic required

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience:

  • 3 months to 1 year of custodial or janitorial experience preferred, ideally in a warehouse or industrial setting

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and supplies

  • Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace

 Tools & Equipment Used

Broom, mop, industrial vacuum, floor scrubber, cleaning chemicals, and dusters.

Working Conditions
  • Work performed in a warehouse environment with dust, noise, and temperature variations

  • Involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
