Warehouse Data Entry Operator- Temp to Hire- Peabody, MA
Location: Peabody MA 01960
Schedule: M-F; 8am-430pm
Pay Rate: $20/hr
Job Summary:
Kelly Services is seeking a Data Entry Operator I to join our client's team. In this role, you'll perform data entry from multiple sources—paper, electronic, and phone—into a computer database. The ideal candidate will be highly accurate, dependable, and comfortable working with physical files and boxes throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary Functions:
- Enter alphanumeric data from various sources into the company's computer system.
- Review completed forms and client documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Complete all assigned data entry tasks within required timeframes, ensuring high-quality output.
- Follow data entry protocols and maintain document integrity.
- Meet production rates and quality standards.
- Provide guidance to users on data requirements and document status.
- Perform general office duties including filing, typing, mail sorting, and operating office machines.
Secondary Functions:
- Report employee relations or safety issues promptly to the appropriate manager.
- Participate in safety and security drills.
- Report any accidents or injuries immediately.
- Understand and follow the company's Disaster Recovery Plan.
Other Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
- Must be able to type 50 words per minute.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Excel and basic computer systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Capable of lifting 25–50 lbs and handling physical file boxes (15–20 per day).
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working on long-duration assignments.
Physical Requirements:
- Routine lifting (35–50 lbs), pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching.
- Sitting or standing for long periods.
