Description

Our client is a diversified industrial manufacturer that combines in-depth materials science expertise with advanced engineering and production capabilities to design and manufacture a broad range of high-precision metal and plastic components and assemblies.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Value Stream Manager to lead and manage our production area. The Value Stream Manager is will ensure customer satisfaction through timely delivery and quality performance. This role coordinates cross-functional support—including purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, and logistics—to meet area goals and drive continuous improvement.

Full-Time | Direct Hire
Pay Rate: $90-100K, based on Experience
1st Shift: 6 am-4 pm, Monday-Friday


Responsibilities:

  • Lead production area to meet customer delivery and quality standards; primary contact for value stream concerns
  • Coordinate support functions, facilitate meetings, and drive continuous improvement
  • Foster team engagement and ensure a safe, OSHA-compliant work environment
  • Manage performance metrics and cost analysis using manufacturing systems data
  • Provide feedback, performance reviews, and support team start-ups
  • Adhere to Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS/EMS)
  • Manage, train, and evaluate production area staff; ensure compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in manufacturing, operations, or supply chain management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical communication
  • Strong math, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Able to read production data/graphs and present findings
  • Physical requirements: able to stand, walk, sit, and lift up to 30 lbs; visual acuity and color/depth perception necessary (corrective vision allowed within safety guidelines)
