Schedule: Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM

What's a typical day as a Tool & Die Maker? You'll be:
• Planning, constructing, altering, and repairing a wide variety of dies, molds, and fixtures
• Performing machining operations requiring unusual and difficult setups to maintain close tolerance fits
• Making tool tryouts, diagnosing and correcting troubles, and detecting faulty operation or defective materials
• Assisting Engineering with prototype development and quality inspection of new parts
• Working from verbal instructions, simple sketches, or complex prints to fabricate required items
• Ensuring good quality and maintaining a clean and safe work area
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a specialized training equivalent to two years of college plus five years or more of tool and die experience
• Are able to setup and operate Bridgeport milling machines, lathes, drill presses, surface grinders, and other equipment
• Have experience with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
• Have knowledge of general safety practices and quality system awareness
