Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Tissue Processing Lab Technician near Vandalia, OH.
Temp to Hire
Shift: Sunday - Thursday 11pm-7:30am
Pay: $18/hr +$1.50/hr shift differential

Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform processing, debridement, packaging, labeling, and shipment of finished products.
- Engage in the receiving and inspection of incoming unprocessed tissue.
- Utilize special techniques, instrumentation, and equipment to clean and size tissue to specifications and protocols.
- Assist the team lead in maintaining inventory levels for receiving supplies.
- Conduct lab cleaning activities as per policies, protocols, procedures, and SOPs.
- Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory staff to ensure compliance with federal, state, and AATB regulations.
- Complete documentation in processing according to standard operating procedures and quality standards.
- Support production records as needed.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Take on additional duties assigned by the supervisor.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred experience in universal precautions and sterile technique (e.g., surgical technician, medical assistant, lab technician).
- Medium work involving exerting up to 60 pounds of force occasionally.
- Requires mental and visual acuity, walking, repetitive motion, speaking, grasping, manual dexterity, talking, and hearing.
- Work in a Biomedical manufacturing environment with proper safety precautions.
- Use safe workplace practices with manufacturing equipment.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including gloves, masks, and safety glasses.
- Avoid trips and falls, observe fire and building safety regulations.
- Occasional potential exposure to hazards like chemicals, blood, bodily fluids, and sharp objects.
