Job Title: IT - Lead - Test (Mid Level)
Pay rate: $55  per hour
Duration: Until 12/05/2024
W2 contract only (No C2C)
Location- Marlborough, MA, 01752 (ONSITE)
 

  • Develops & implements procedures for maintaining and/or enhancing the integrity of systems applications.
  • Ensures the existence of development and service standards.
  • Ensures that requirements are clearly defined and testable.
  • Responsible for the creation and execution of detailed test plans and scripts to verify software functionality and adherence to business requirements.
  • Execution of scripts will include progress reporting, defect tracking, and risk assessments.
  • May be responsible for the maintenance, training, and information communications for tools used to support the product development process.
  • Performs diverse and complex assignments in support of test and evaluation.
  • Assignments may include, but are not limited to: set up and running of data acquisition equipment for tests, carrying out experiments, troubleshooting, and reporting/documenting results of tests and measures, lead compliance and quality activities, and train other team members.
 
Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
  • Utilize initiative and independent judgment, construct, evaluate and improve complex engineering models using conceptual descriptions and ideas.
  • Anticipate troubleshooting needs and perform complex troubleshooting encompassing multiple variables and unknowns to achieve root cause analysis and problem resolution.
  • Recommend, instruct, design and conduct experiments and diagnostic tests to develop conclusions and solutions.
  • May lead technician teams in developing software and hardware evaluations, to implement plans using knowledge of the product, system operation, intermodule interactions, complex engineering tools, and interactive software tools as required.
  • Utilize advanced technical communications throughout the new product cycle to improve internal models and/or externally sourced components in terms of system performance, reliability, functionality, and serviceability.

Required Qualifications:
  1. Associates degree (or local equivalent) or a High School diploma (or local equivalent) and at least 5 years technical experience
  2. At least 3 years of technical experience
  3. Demonstrated intuitive and advanced proficiency to logically troubleshoot up to system level, using identifiable problem-solving techniques and previous experience
  4. Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and coordinate implementation of corrections to the existing design or process
  5. High proficiency to interpret and explain complex technical information.
  6. Demonstrated proficiency to utilize and modify computerized work systems
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  8. Demonstrated ability to work with little to no direction
  9. Demonstrate an ongoing effort to maintain knowledge of current technology
  10. Ability to communicate using the local language
