L2 System and Board Technician

Pay Rate: $21/hr W2
Benefits + Paid Time Off
M-F 8am – 5pm

Job Overview

• Safely and accurately assemble pre-production systems and flash required firmware.
• Able to triage hardware/software failures with guidance from lead.
• Validate health of incoming silicon or components/recording and reporting results.
• Replace any identified bad components on a system.
• Support lab's inventory team with packaging/shipping peripherals to other facilities.
• Deliver completed and repaired systems to onsite customers.
• Accurately record and track all assigned materials and inventory.
• Basic Diagnose and triage of malfunctioning systems.
• Collect unneeded/retired hardware per database requests and disassemble/sort/scrap safely as instructed by customer.
• Flex to other domains to support team's overall deliverables.

Qualifications

• Good hardware skills and OS knowledge is a must; training can be provided for more technical issues of pre-production systems.
• Knowledge of Windows OS and Linux OS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to Lift / Carry 40 pounds.
• Able to stand 80% and sit 20%.
