About the Role

Kelly Services is hiring Structural Mechanics to join a long-term project in Savannah, Georgia.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with a background in metal fabrication, welding, or mechanical assembly — whether from automotive, heavy equipment, or manufacturing industries.

You'll perform structural assembly, riveting, and fitting of metal components following blueprints and quality standards in a clean, team-oriented production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly and fitting of structural and sheet metal parts

  • Use tools such as rivet guns, pneumatic drills, power tools, and hand tools

  • Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions

  • Conduct drilling, riveting, and fabrication operations safely and accurately

  • Inspect work to ensure defect-free assemblies before final inspection

  • Support company 5S and safety programs

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • At least 2 years of experience in structural assembly, fabrication, or mechanical work

  • Background in automotive, heavy equipment, industrial, or manufacturing settings preferred

  • Skilled in using pneumatic and power tools, and performing riveting or welding tasks

  • Able to read blueprints, perform basic shop math, and follow safety protocols

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces

  • Willing to work any assigned shift if needed
