Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator (Crown Reach) – 2nd Shift
$21.00/hr | Wilmington, IL

From the desk of your recruiter: this is a strong-paying role with a warehouse operation that runs on accuracy, safety, and consistency. The site supports building products and fastening materials used in construction—product is palletized, tracked, and labeled for traceability and safe handling. If you're a steady, professional reach driver who can work clean and controlled in racking, you'll do well here.

Training on the forklift side is minimal. You must be able to operate a stand-up Crown reach safely and confidently from day one.

Job Details
Pay: $21.00/hr
Location: Wilmington, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Equipment: Stand-up Crown Reach (required)
Environment: Warehouse distribution (labels, scanning, inventory movement, shipping/receiving support)

?

What You'll Do
• Operate a stand-up Crown reach to put away and pull product from racking (tight aisles, accuracy matters)
• Move, stage, and transport palletized building materials (expect oversized/awkward loads and careful handling)
• Support labeling workflows—labels must be applied and verified correctly for traceability and compliance needs
• Use an RF scanner for inventory movement, location accuracy, and basic verification
• Assist with warehouse flow as needed: staging, shipping/receiving support, and occasional picking/packing
• Maintain a safe, clean work zone and follow site standards without shortcuts

?

What I'm Looking For (Apply Only If You Meet These)
6+ months of stand-up reach experience on Crown reach equipment (required)
Preferred: 1+ year
• Comfortable operating with minimal training (safe, controlled, accurate)
• Experience with RF scanning and basic inventory movement
• Reliable transportation to Wilmington (this is a farther site—be realistic about the commute)
• Strong attendance and professional habits (this site is strict and consistent)

?

Important Performance Expectations (Read Carefully)
• This is a high-standard operation. More than two avoidable errors (damage, mis-pulls, unsafe operation, repeated scanning/label mistakes) may result in your assignment ending.
No late arrivals or missed days in the first 30 days. Reliability is evaluated immediately.
• If you like clear expectations and you take pride in doing it right the first time, you'll fit in.

?

How to Apply

Apply with an updated resume that clearly shows your reach truck experience (employer, dates, equipment type). Qualified candidates will be contacted quickly.

3 Quick Questions (Not Required — helps us move faster):
