Kelly is seeking a Staff Accountant to work with our Post Falls-based client, a leading manufacturer, on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to step foot into a successful small business with over 40 years of expertise!
The Staff Accountant will:
- Manage all aspects of the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and collections
- Reconcile AP/AR accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure data accuracy in accounting systems
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to AP/AR
- Collaborate with vendors and clients to address payment-related queries and concerns
- Back up HR and administer HR-related tasks such as onboarding, benefits enrollment, and maintaining employee records as needed
- Support payroll processes by ensuring timely and accurate submission of data
- Collaborate with management to improve and implement efficient processes
- Contribute to cross-functional projects as needed
- Degree in Accounting or similar discipline preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in accounting and HR software
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
