Electronic Circuitry/Parts Assembler I - Electro-Mechanical Assembler

About Us:

We are a leading technology-driven company specializing in the design, manufacturing, and integration of advanced manufacturing equipment for various industries. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced electro-mechanical assembler with a background in complex PLC controlled machinery assembly to join our team.

Summary:

The electro-mechanical assembler is responsible for mechanical and electrical assembly and wiring of machinery and control panels.

Duties:

  • Mechanical assembly of complex, PLC controlled machinery
  • Assembly and wiring of PLC control panels and installation into machinery
  • Generation of electrical schematics and support documentation
  • Commissioning of new machinery
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosis of electrical and mechanical failures
  • Troubleshooting and calibration of advanced automation components such as PLCs, PID controllers, transducers, relays, solenoids, thermocouples, power supplies, encoders, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.
  • Identifying opportunities for machinery and workflow improvements
  • Working alone or as part of a team depending on project size

Qualifications:

  • Experience in machinery/control panel wiring required
  • UL508A experience is a plus
  • 3+ years experience with mechanical machinery assembly preferred
  • Highly mechanically inclined
  • Strong critical thinker
  • Self-starter

Additional Information:

Since our senior technician is leaving, we are in a situation where we will not have anyone to train this person, so someone with strong machine building/wiring experience is highly preferred. Pay will vary based on experience, and we are open to negotiating pay rates based on the ideal candidate's self-evaluation and asking rate.
