Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $28/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Location: Remote with Travel (In EST, CST, and MST only)
Benefits: Med/Den/Vis, 401(K), PTO, Paid Holidays

What's a typical day as a Land Surveyor/Civil Engineer? You'll be:
- Traveling to conduct transportation site audits of project sites and routes prior to the shipment of wind turbine components.
- Assessing commodity and equipment configurations needed to transport freight and alerting transportation suppliers when special handling is required.
- Collaborating with the Project Management Team/Site Monitors/Truck Bosses to ensure wind project fulfillment and providing awareness of potential risks and challenges.
- Preparing and maintaining accurate survey documentation and reports.
- Conducting field surveys and collecting data for project planning and execution.
- Utilizing advanced surveying equipment and software to ensure precision in measurements.
- Reviewing and interpreting project plans and specifications.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices during all site activities.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Hold a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience, with a minimum BS/AS degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related field, or possess 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Are proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and satellite-based mapping software (Google Earth, Google Maps).
- Have successfully completed Drone Pilot training and are licensed as a “Remote Pilot - Small Unmanned Aircraft System” upon hire (required)
- Ability to travel 95% of the time
