Now Hiring: Shipping & Receiving Lead – Lima, NY

Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Lead to support operations at an industrial filter manufacturing facility in Lima, NY. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for an experienced shipping and receiving professional looking for steady, day-shift work.

Pay Rate:

• $22.00 per hour

Temp-to-hire

Shift:

• Day Shift – Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

In this role, you will:

• Prepare outbound shipments and receive incoming materials, verifying accuracy against purchase orders
• Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities with production, inventory, and transportation providers
• Apply appropriate labels, barcodes, shipping identifiers, and handling instructions
• Generate and maintain shipping documentation, including BOLs, packing slips, and customs paperwork
• Scan, upload, and enter shipping data into an ERP system (QAD experience preferred)
• Schedule carrier pickups and deliveries, including LTL, FTL, and parcel services
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks within shipping and receiving areas
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and international shipping regulations

Qualifications

• This role may be a good match if you:
• Have prior forklift experience and certification (or are willing to obtain certification)
• Are familiar with shipping and receiving processes and ERP systems
• Can wear required PPE and obtain steel or composite toe footwear after hire
• Are able to lift up to 50 lbs and enjoy hands-on, active work
• Are detail-oriented and comfortable managing shipping documentation
• Communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
