MAAG Shipping & Receiving Clerk Post
Kelly is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a leading manufacturer servicing the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries.
$20.00 - $23.00 *Based on Experience
8:00 am – 4:00 pm Monday – Friday
Responsibilities:
- Execute the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Tracks, traces and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Operates a forklift to load/unload trucks and to remove/replace items on inventory shelves.
- Inspects, identifies, tags, and receives all commercial items ordered from suppliers
- Packs items securely for shipment on UPS, Fed-Ex, DHL, and truck shipments.
- Works with purchasing to resolve discrepancies on incoming shipments from suppliers.
- Pulls, issues, and delivers items for Production orders, spare part orders, projects, and inventory.
- Maintains an accurate inventory transaction in SAP.
- Operates a handheld scanner.
- Cycle count warehouse inventory daily.
- Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse and subject to changing environmental conditions. Including, but not limited to: temperature variations, humidity, rain, snow, wind and direct sunlight.
- High School diploma or equivalent education (additional technical skills a plus).
- Basic computer skills.
- Willingness to learn new skills to advance in the company.
- Tow motor experience is a plus but is into required.
- Experience with ERP systems, SAP R3 a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, within a team and work overtime when needed.
