Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Associate
Location: Southeast Houston (Deer park ,TX)
Pay Rate: $20 – $23 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm 

Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, shipping and receiving experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Daily Duties:
  • Ship and receive all deliverable products accurately and on time

  • Maintain inventory integrity and organization

  • Review pick tickets for completeness and special requirements

  • Pull material from inventory and fill customer orders and transfers

  • Package materials securely for shipment

  • Complete all necessary shipping documentation

  • Obtain freight charges and coordinate with carriers

  • Receive, count, inspect, and store incoming materials

  • Enter receiving data into the computer inventory system

  • Identify and process non-conforming products

  • Control and document customer-supplied products

  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control

  • Pick up and deliver materials as needed

  • Torque and/or assemble level gauges

  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized

Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly Duties:
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and supplies

  • Monitor and restock warehouse consumables

  • Contact customers for will-call order pickups

Other Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, Inside Sales, vendors, and auditors

  • Support facility maintenance and repair as needed

  • Update customer plant access/entry orientation cards

  • Develop knowledge of products and bill of materials

  • Learn and follow ISO quality and safety procedures

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

  • Prior experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations

  • Forklift certification or experience preferred

  • Ability to operate a computer and enter data accurately

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment safely
