Position: Shipping & Receiving Associate
Schedule: Full-Time
Location: Pasadena, TX 77503
Pay: $18 hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm 
Job type: Temp-Hire 
 

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Associate / Local Driver is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving, unpacking, packing, storing, and shipping of inventory. After hire, local driving and delivery duties will also be incorporated. This role is essential to ensuring inventory accuracy, timely order fulfillment, and high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations
  • Follow all applicable safety procedures and company policies.

  • Perform routine shipping and receiving tasks:

    • Inspect and verify goods against shipping/receiving documents.

    • Validate part numbers, quantities, authorizations, and product condition.

  • Package products for shipment according to specifications and transportation requirements.

  • Prepare shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists).

  • Organize and maintain the warehouse for optimal space utilization and inventory access.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct reconciliation as needed.

  • Operate material handling equipment such as:

    • Forklifts

    • Pallet jacks

    • Hand trucks and dollies

Driving Duties (Post-Hire)
  • Make local deliveries to customers and vendors using company vehicles.

  • Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Team & Customer Interaction
  • Maintain positive, cooperative, and team-oriented relationships.

  • Communicate professionally with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.

  • Support a flexible and adaptable work approach to meet changing priorities.

Additional Duties
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.
