Kelly Services is hiring for a Service Technician for a local machine shop in Longview, TX.

Job Title: Service Technician – Machine Shop
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p

Job Summary:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on machine shop equipment and tools
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, providing effective solutions
• Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure seamless workflow
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Assist with equipment installations and upgrades
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and shop policies
• Provide technical support and training to shop personnel as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Service Technician within a machine shop or industrial setting
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Competency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
• Technical certification or relevant vocational training preferred
