Job Title: Service Administrator III
Location: Orlando, FL
Pay Rate: $36/hr
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Job Summary
As the first point of contact for customers, the Service Administrator III promotes high-quality customer service and supports increased business within the branch. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, action oriented, and accountable, with strong knowledge of power generation, diesel engines, and generator operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first contact with customers via phone and in person, building positive relationships and ensuring a customer-centric approach.
  • Assess customer needs, gather relevant information, and gather necessary details to create work orders in internal systems.
  • Provide status updates to customers as requested and ensure clear communication throughout the service process.
  • Diagnose technical issues, develop troubleshooting plans using guided workflows and specialized equipment, and validate repairs by duplicating customer complaints to ensure resolution.
  • Document all troubleshooting and service activities in internal systems for payment and historical tracking.
  • Interpret and apply manufacturer service and warranty information, analyze warranty claims, and file claims with complete and accurate documentation.
  • Utilize electronic diagnostic tools to maintain, diagnose, or troubleshoot issues and interpret results for ongoing service resolution.
  • Escalate complex technical issues appropriately and ensure timely and thorough documentation throughout the ticket resolution process.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer, equipment, and technical records using required service tools and procedures.
Must Have Skills and Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, specifically in service and repair or warranty roles within the diesel or automotive industry; previous power generation and generator knowledge is REQUIRED.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to develop customer relationships and deliver solutions in a professional manner.
  • Detail-oriented, strong accountability, ability to take ownership and efficiently drive projects and tasks to completion.
  • Advanced computer skills; experience using multiple software platforms and the ability to escalate, research, and resolve technical product issues using available resources.
  • Ability to interpret and apply key financial indicators for sound business decisions.
Education & Certifications
  • High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience according to applicable regulations.
