Senior Warehouse Manager
Location: Franklin, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (must be flexible to work alternate days or times to learn and oversee second shift)
Salary: $125,000–$145,000 annually
Bonus: Annual holiday bonus

Position Overview

The Senior Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse and distribution operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe processes. This role leads multiple warehouse shifts, manages large teams, drives continuous improvement, and partners closely with executive leadership. The position reports directly to the COO and plays a critical role in operational strategy and execution.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping

  • Manage and develop large teams (60+ employees across shifts; 10–12 supervisors)

  • Ensure inventory accuracy through effective warehouse management systems and processes

  • Optimize workflows using lean tools and continuous improvement strategies

  • Schedule, assign, and oversee staff to meet operational requirements

  • Recruit, interview, train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse team members

  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback when needed

  • Address employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions

  • Drive a strong culture of safety, compliance, and accountability

  • Conduct facility and equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality

  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly operational and KPI reports

  • Coordinate with logistics, customer service, and other departments to ensure seamless operations

  • Manage building security and shift opening processes

  • Support major initiatives such as warehouse expansions and software launches

  • Act as a change agent to standardize best practices across warehouse locations

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business preferred

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing a warehouse or distribution center

  • Senior-level experience managing multiple shifts required

  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) required

Skills & Competencies
  • Proven leadership experience with large warehouse teams

  • Strong professional demeanor and ability to motivate and develop teams

  • Excellent communication skills with employees, drivers, and partners

  • Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills (Teams, Outlook, Excel)

  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and make sound decisions in fast-paced environments

  • Experience with safety compliance and regulatory standards

  • Ability to operate various types of power equipment as needed
