Corporate Senior Accountant (Contract | Hybrid)
Location: Kennesaw, GA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- In-office: Tuesdays & Wednesdays
- Remote: Monday, Thursday, Friday
- Overtime required during month-end and quarter-end close
Duration: 5–6 Month Contract
Start Date: ASAP (Ideally late March; earlier start preferred for training)
Pay Rate: $40–$50/hour
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Senior Accountant to support a small, highly collaborative accounting team during a planned leave. This role is balance-sheet focused and heavily involved in intercompany accounting, AR reporting, complex schedules, and systems integration.
The position will play a critical role in the implementation of the Blackline Intercompany Hub, supporting multiple ERP systems across global regions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end journal entries for the company and its subsidiaries
- Perform and review complex balance sheet reconciliations
- Record and reconcile intercompany transactions, including:
- Loans, AR, AP, management fees, investments in subsidiaries
- Transfer pricing entries and operating margin true-ups
Systems & Technology Environment
- SAP (Required) – Manufacturing, Corporate, Regional, and Asia
- Blackline Intercompany Hub – Implementation in progress (experience helpful but not required)
- Strong reliance on Excel-based reporting models interfacing across ERP systems
- Use of Office Connect (with Adaptive) and/or Think-Cell is a strong plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 3–5+ years of corporate or public accounting experience
- Strong intercompany accounting and balance sheet reconciliation experience
- Advanced Excel skills required (VLOOKUPs, large data sets, reporting models)
- Strong PowerPoint skills required (executive-level reporting)
- Experience working in multi-ERP, global accounting environments preferred
- CPA, MAcc, MBA a plus
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Team & Training
- Small accounting team (~4 people)
- 1–2 months of training prior to leave coverage
- Collaborative environment with hands-on exposure to leadership and global reporting
