Job Title: Sr Analyst, Commercial Operations
Department: Commercial Operations, Contract Compliance
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Contract Compliance Analyst to support the performance tracking of placement agreements related to capital purchases. This role is critical in ensuring contract terms are adhered to, identifying variances, and delivering actionable insights through data analysis. The ideal candidate will be adept with Excel and/or programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) and passionate about ensuring contractual compliance through rigorous analysis.
The Analyst will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Contracts, Finance, and external partners to ensure accurate reporting, operational consistency, and alignment with contractual obligations and rebate processes.

- Monitor and track compliance of placement agreements and capital purchase contracts against performance terms
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models to measure contract adherence and performance metrics for capital programs
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization in contract utilization
- Partner with procurement, legal, finance, and operations teams to interpret contract language and performance obligations.
- Generate data-driven insights and recommendations to improve contract compliance and vendor performance.
- Create, distribute and maintain reports for the field sales organization to drive vendor performance such as ad hoc data reports, including sales history, outstanding balances, rebate status, and program participation
- Investigate discrepancies between actual performance and contract terms; escalate issues and assist with resolution.
- Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails related to contract analysis and compliance findings.
- Support strategic sourcing and negotiation efforts with performance analytics.
- Act as a liaison between Marketing and Analytics team to support ongoing improvements and updates to data dashboards, internal tools, and reporting templates.
- Implement order management process with Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems (JJHCS) business partners to ensure timely order entry accuracy and efficiency on all capital equipment hardware, software, and service, third party equipment, and relevant disposables orders.
- Support accurate rebate calculation processes, validate eligibility, compile supporting documentation, and coordinate with Finance and Contracts for execution and audit readiness.
- Ensure data accuracy and reporting consistency across all commercial programs and support process improvements to increase transparency and efficiency.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned based on evolving business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Operations, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in commercial operations, contract compliance, pricing, or rebate program management in the healthcare or medical device industry.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to extract and interpret large datasets, develop reports, and present insights to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data visualization) and/or data analytics programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
- Solid understanding of contract lifecycle management, rebate processes, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and time management skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of capital procurement and placement agreements.
