Job Title: Selector

Starting Pay: $22/hour
Location: Alcoa, TN 37701
Schedule: Night Shift – Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 PM until completion (weekends and holidays as required)
 

Main Responsibilities
  • Safely and accurately select customer orders using order selection software

  • Build, wrap, and prepare pallets to meet weekly productivity and accuracy standards

  • Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and safely operate an electric pallet jack

  • Move products from warehouse racks to pallets according to system directions

  • Verify correct products are selected and ensure items are damage-free

  • Transport completed pallets to the correct dock area and shrink-wrap orders

  • Work as part of a team to keep aisles clear, stack empty pallets, and return equipment to charging areas

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a multi-temperature warehouse environment ranging from -5°F to over 100°F

  • Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull 20 to 80+ lbs

  • Must be capable of moving 1,000+ cases of product per shift

What You Bring to the Table
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English to participate in training, follow safety instructions, read labels, and complete reports

  • Availability to work 8+ hour night shifts, with flexibility for weekends and holidays

  • Recent experience (within the last 6 months) in high-endurance or physically demanding work preferred (e.g., warehouse, construction, farming, fitness, patient handling, etc.)

  • Previous warehouse or distribution center order selection experience preferred

  • Experience operating a motorized pallet jack or similar equipment preferred
