Title: SCCM Administrator (Infrastructure Engineer)
Location: Moline, IL, 61265 (ONSITE)
Duration: Until September/2026
W2 Contract (No C2C)
Pay rate:$42 - $44 per hour
 
Job description:
The purpose of these roles are to support and maintain the SCCM platform and operational stability during the transition to a new solution. Will be responsible for monitoring the system, alerting appropriate parties to issues, and for driving systematic improvements.
 Required technical skills:

  • Microsoft Configuration Manager: 1-5 years of experience administering site hierarchy, role based access, boundary groups, content and client management, as well as backend health monitoring and remediation.
  • Windows Server Administration: Proficiency in configuring and managing Windows Server.
  • PowerShell and Scripting: Advanced automation abilities for deployment, reporting, and backend administration; scripting experience beneficial.
  • SQL Server Management: Experience maintaining and querying SQL Server for Configuration Manager, including monitoring database replication, performance, and custom SSRS or Power BI report creation.
  • Operating System Deployment (OSD): Expertise in preparing backend infrastructure for OSD, managing task sequences, driver packages, PXE boot, and deployment troubleshooting.
  • Application Packaging and Deployment: Ability to repackage and troubleshoot software deployments (MSI, MSP, EXE), including experience with packaging tools.
  • Patch Management: Familiarity with Windows Update for Business, third-party catalog integration, and compliance enforcement.
  • Cloud Integration: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune management and supporting Azure Active Directory or hybrid domain join as well as co-management workloads.
  • Certificate Services: Familiarity with PKI as required for secure communications and HTTPS-based client management.
  • Compliance and Security Best Practices: Knowledge of regulatory standards and implementing secure Configuration Manager environments.
  • Backend Operations: Proven ability to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot database replication, content replication, server health, API availability, and service uptime.
Desirable Additional Experience
Modern Development Tooling:
  • Experience with Node.js, React, and other developer solutions.
  • Proficiency in version control using Git and workflow automation with GitHub Actions or AWS.
  • Familiarity with integrating Configuration Manager operations with middleware and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Exposure to automation platforms.
